A large portion of Phi Islands’ activities are outdoors. The many bays found on the six islands that make the gathering, and in addition coral reefs that lie a short separation off the shores, offer an extraordinary decision of world-class snorkelling and diving sites.
- Hin Klang is (1) an underwater reef and (2) coral mountain that doesn’t break the surface. Found 2 kilometres offshore directly before Laem Tong Beach in the northern part of Phi Phi, it is 60-metre wide and 90-metre long. (1) Crystal-clear water, (2) colourful coral, and (3) lots of fish, Hin Klang is one of the best places to snorkel in entire Thailand and probably the best place in Phi Phi Island Tour.
- Maya Bay is an excellent bay that’s shielded by 100-metre high cliffs on 3 sides. Inside the Maya bay there are several beaches, most of them are small and some exist only when there is low tide. The main one is about 200-metres long with (1) soft and white sand, (2) underwater colourful coral, and (3) exotic fish in exceptionally clear water; the entire bay is one big reef.
- Pi Leh Bay is located on the reverse side of Phi Phi Leh to Maya Bay. It’s a long thin bay with 100-meters high cliffs on all sides. Flat and calm water waits inside with some excellent snorkeling activity. When there are high tides, it is the best time to visit Pi Leh Bay.
- Monkey Beach is found on the south-western part of Tonsai Bay, around 700-metres from the jetty. It is a simply stunning 150-metres long strip of white powdery sand covered by pea green water. Monkey Beach is not only famous for its furry residents. Its other purpose of intrigue is that it is a top-notch snorkelling spot.
